Action Training Academy specialises in placing emergency medical care personnel and
resources at sporting events, functions and remote site locations.
All emergency medical staff are registered with the Health Professions Council of
South Africa (HPCSA), and are placed on-site with all the necessary emergency equipment
appropriate to their level of training.
A popular and cost-effective model in the urban and metropolitan regions is the
placement of on-site emergency medical staff at events - who provide peace-of-mind,
any on-site assistance, as well as calling in private emergency services to transport
any patients who require ambulance transportation to hospital.
We have a large staffing resource base to draw from, as we successfully run two
large emergency care training academies accredited by the Health Professions council
of South Africa (HPCSA). Staff members are hand-picked from the nature of the ‘medical
standby’, and we have the ability to source and supply large volumes of staff for
various events.
Emergency medical equipment that is placed at events include appropriately qualified
staff, fully-stocked emergency jump bag, oxygen cylinder and regulator, spine board,
neck braces and immobilisation gear and cellular communication with emergency service
control centres.
