Welcome to e-Online a distance learning program, designed and developed by Action Training Academy (ATA), which enables participants / learners to register, complete and be certified when completing ATA courses, through a distance learning electronic media.

Learners successfully completing a course aligned to one of the SETA’s may register their unit standard credits or qualification with South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) at the end of the period, through a number of short, user friendly modules.

Participants can download or print a copy of the operation manual which clearly details the process of getting going. The operation manual is very user friendly and anyone should be able to follow the process. In summary:

Log on to ATA server
Download study material
Complete self tests
Complete written test
Upload workplace POE
Receive certificate

The programs are structured as follows:

e~Study
The learner completes the module/s study material for the Unit Standards at the learner’s own time. The study material includes self assessments where the learner can make a judgment whether the final assessment can be completed or whether additional study is required. When the learner is ready, assessment can be completed.

e~Assessment
The assessment consists of theory and practical tests/ questionnaires/ exercises. All study material will be in a format supported by free readers. I.e. PowerPoint or Adobe readers can be downloaded free of charge from the provided links on the web site, therefore there are no costs involved in buying additional software to use the program.

All online assessment material submitted or answered by the learner is stored electronically on the e~Online database and backed up regularly. This information should never be lost or deleted, and therefore we are able to make this available to clients as and when called for.

Registering Learners onto e~Online

Private Individual Learners
Learners / participants will apply online to register onto the program. Once registration is complete, learners may begin and work through the modules as time permits; however it is suggested that a minimum of 1 module per month is completed.

Company Nominated Learners
As learners register, the company training co-ordinator will be automatically notified and this information will be forwarded on a monthly basis. The company training co-ordinator will have to ensure that the identified participants register.

Progress Reporting

For Groups/ Companies
The progress reports are automatically generated by the system an automatically eMailed to your company training co-ordinator.
